In the script Latimer is a bit of an obnoxious twat, driven by greed and his own vainglorious ego. In direct contrast, Adam Fawns is a lovely person*! I used a publicity photo of Adam as the source material, removing the scruffy beard he had at the time.

This is actually my second attempt. Technique-wise, I felt I was still too fussy in the shadows and around the eyes, but gaining better control on the clothing and general shading. The shading diagonals were not in sync, either. It all felt a little too graphic novel-esque.

Going again was the right decision, for sure. But even then, I think a 3rd attempt is needed - the eyes alone are not good enough.
